Since 2017, Securis has held the electronics recycling contract for Richmond area communities represented by the CVWMA (Central Virginia Waste Management Authority). Through this contract, we’re proud to have been able to help keep hundreds of thousands of pounds of computers and electronics out of landfills. In order to increase our availability to the community, Securis now offers a monthly computer and electronics recycling event for residents of Virginia’s Greater Richmond Area.
This local event allows Greater Richmond Area residents to keep their data safe with secure data destruction. It also allows community members to responsibly recycle their computers and electronics knowing that nothing will end up in a landfill.
COVID-19 Precautions
Securis has added social distancing guidelines to the Saturday computer & electronics recycling event to keep our customers and employees safe during the pandemic. Please remain in your car upon arrival until a masked and gloved Securis team member approaches you who will then take your items from you.
If you have additional electronics for recycling or data destruction in your trunk, we are happy to remove the items for you. If you prefer to remove them yourself, please maintain social distancing of six feet from the Securis team.
