E-Waste Recycling in Loudoun County

Participate in Loudoun e-waste recycling events for convenient electronics recycling and secure data destruction services. Events occur throughout Loudoun County; please check dates for the specific location. Some items we’re unable to accept, and some require a fee to recycle.

The remaining recycling events in 2025 are:

• Saturday, Sept, 13 2025, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Dulles South Park and Ride II, 24281 Millstream Drive, Aldie, VA
• October 18th, 2025, from 9 am-3 pm at Leesburg Park and Ride, 41951 Gourley Transit Dr, Leesburg, VA 20175

Electronics Recycling Loudoun VA – Items with Recycling Fees:

• Monitors – $20.00 Each
• Televisions, LCD and Plasma – 19″ or Smaller $20.00 Each,  20″ to 30” $20.00 Each, 31″ to 50″ $25.00 Each, 51″ or Larger $30.00
• Monitor $20
• Console or Projection TV $60
• CRT $35
• Hard Drive 7.50 per item,  $20 if the drive is not removed from the computer (you may watch if you’d like to – fee applies whether you witness the destruction or drop your drive off for shredding).
• Cell Phone, and Tablet Shredding – $12  Please remove batteries from cell phones.
• Flash Drives and Thumb Drive Shredding – $1.00 each (shredded at a later date, stored in a securely locked tote until destruction)
• CDs, Floppies, DVDs, Tapes, VHS Tapes, Shredded and Recycled – $1.50 per lbs
• Ink/Toner Cartridges – $1.00 per lbs

• Thermostats or other mercury-containing devices
• Items that contain Freon
• Any fossil fuel or materials used in collecting fossil fuels
• Any infectious or biological wastes or equipment that contained them
• Media contaminated with oil
• Any liquid, chemicals, oils, or powders
• Equipment that contains chemicals of any kind
• Equipment that contains asbestos
• Equipment that contains radioactive components
• Fluorescent light bulbs
• Microwaves glass plates
• PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls)
• Aerosol
• Equipment that contains mercury
• Any materials that would adversely impact our operations or result in environmental or health problems
